Steve McDaniel, 56, has been with Anheuser-Busch for more than two decades starting as a line foreman on the night shift in Jacksonville before moving to the company’s breweries in Merrimack, N.H. and Fort Collins, Colo. McDaniel served as plant manager for the Fort Collins brewery for nine years until he was named senior plant manager for the Cartersville brewery in January 2001. Steve was named senior plant manager at Anheuser-Busch’s Jacksonville brewery in November 2007. McDaniel was born in San Angelo, Texas, and raised in Florida. He graduated from the University of Northern Florida in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in public administration.
Steve Foppe joined Anheuser-Busch in 1989 and was named maintenance manager for St. Louis brewing operations in 1993. He joined the corporate brewing staff as staff brewmaster in 1999 and was appointed executive assistant to the vice president of brewing shortly thereafter. He was named senior assistant brewmaster at the Anheuser-Busch Houston brewery in 2001. He was promoted to brewmaster at the Jacksonville brewery in 2004.
Foppe has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He and his wife, Debbie, have two children.
