John Mills started his career with Anheuser-Busch as a Plant Engineer in the Williamsburg brewery in 1989.
He spent three years as Maintenance Manager in the Williamsburg brewery. After assuming positions with increasing responsibilities, he was promoted to Senior Resident Engineer in the Newark brewery in 1997.
He also served as Senior Operations Manager in the St. Louis brewery. Prior to joining the Merrimack brewery in June 2007 he was the Senior Assistant Plant Manager at the Los Angeles brewery.
Mills has an M.B.A. from Rutgers University – New Brunswick and a mechanical engineering degree from University of Missouri – Rolla.
Mills is a native of Crystal City, Missouri and he and his wife, Lisa, have three children; Mathew, Mary and Rebecca.
Will Allen began his career with Anheuser-Busch in 1992 as an INROADS intern in the St. Louis Brewery.
His primary responsibilities include ensuring the quality, integrity and consistency of all brands and he shares in accountability in operations of the brewery with the plant manager. Specifically, he oversees the quality control, beer production, efficiencies, and safety aspects of the brewing process.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1997, Will’s work experience with A-B brewers, educational background and INROADS training enabled him to obtain a full-time position as Group Manager. For the next six years, Will worked in various production areas of the St. Louis Brewery as an Area Manager and as an Assistant Brewmaster. In 2003, Will worked in Corporate Brewing as part of the Brewing Raw Materials staff and also served as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Corporate Brewing.
Prior to joining the Merrimack Brewing Team, Will was Staff Brewmaster for the Research Pilot Brewery. In this capacity he oversaw many new product prototype brewing trials, raw material specials, and provided hands-on training and development for Anheuser-Busch’s newest Group Managers.
Allen most recently served as staff brewmaster in the Research Pilot Brewery in St. Louis. His experience with the company includes responsibility for brewing as the assistant brewmaster at the St. Louis brewery and in Corporate Raw Materials. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
Allen was promoted to resident brewmaster after serving as senior assistant brewmaster at the Merrimack brewery for six months. Allen became resident brewmaster in Merrimack, N.H., in July 2007.
